Through your vital support we can make huge improvements across both our hospitals.

All you have to do is help us, help you.

• Attend our events – we have great upcoming events! A chance to get together with your colleagues, family and friends!
• We are always trying to network and gain new contacts to benefit our charity. Do you know of anyone in the corporate sector? Any local businesses that may be able to help us? Get in touch and let us know.
• Fundraise for us- organise a work event with your colleagues to help raise money for your department. 

But most importantly, tell your grateful patients about our amazing charity!

Become a Charity Champion

We’re on the hunt for passionate BHRUT staff members to become charity champions! Your role will involve spreading awareness of the charity within your department, ward, among colleagues and to patients and their families. You will be the magic link between your ward or department and our charity.

So, how can you help? 

• Share with us any ongoing or completed projects we can support and the impact they have made
• Include the charity in your team meetings, to share how everyone can be involved and support
• Be the point of contact on your ward for patients and families who would like to donate
• Encourage your team to join in on fundraising efforts!
• Keep your ward or department up to date with posters and flyers
• Be our eyes and ears within the hospital by sharing any funding projects, necessary materials, and ways to encourage new support
• Keep your team up to date with the charity’s news and events
• When patients express their gratitude for the great care they have received, tell them about King George and Queen’s Hospitals Charity

So, what's in it for you?

• You will be able to make a positive impact in your ward or department
• You will have the opportunity to bond as a team and have fun!
• We will be invited to join regular Charity Champion competitions, so you’ll always have a chance of winning prizes

How will we support you? 

• We will provide you with resources to help promote donations, fundraising events, posters and leaflets to help spread the word about the charity
• We will keep you in the loop about donations coming into your area, and pass on some of the lovely notes we receive from grateful patients
• If you choose to fundraise for us, we can help you every step of the way
