On 7th April 2024, fundraiser John Sullivan will be participating in the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris. This marathon, known for its legendary distance of 42.195km, is now among the largest in the world!

This won't be John’s first-time taking part in a fundraiser for our charity, he has previously completed the London Triathlon raising over £550 in memory of his dad who sadly passed away.

“I’m fundraising again, because 10 years ago, my dad spent his last 7 weeks in Queen’s Hospital. The nursing staff were absolutely incredible, and I’ll never forget the care they showed. My family and I have completed several fundraising events and it’s great seeing how the money is used.”

- John Sullivan

John raises funds for our Treasured Memories department, which provides support to children/young people whose loved ones have a life limiting illness.

John added: “I hope I can raise some more funds to further support the incredible staff.”

Good luck John!
