You can make a difference

There are countless ways to raise money for King George and Queen’s Hospitals Charity and our team is here to help you every step of the way. By fundraising for us, you'll be supporting patients, their loved ones, and the dedicated staff who care for them.

School Fundraising

Why not get your school, college or education group involved in fundraising for its local hospitals?

Promote a sense of community and learn valuable skills by rallying behind your local hospital’s charity. From a dress down day to a bake sale, there are lots of ways you can get involved. Fundraising for us is an excellent opportunity to bring your school together and understand the importance of helping others. Our charity would be delighted to support you with any ideas you may have, and we are available to visit your school for a talk about our charity and fundraising.

Make us your Charity of the Year

You could support King George and Queen's Hospitals Charity all year round by making us your Charity of the Year. This is a brilliant way to actively engage students about the work we do and gain a deeper understanding of how we support our local hospitals.

We would love a chance to talk to you about how your school can help make a difference across our hospitals, please get in touch with us.

Reindeer Run

In the last 5 years, our charity has successfully organised the Reindeer Run campaign. Participating in The Reindeer Run is a fantastic way for your school to raise funds for our local hospitals. The funds raised will make a significant difference in enhancing the care available to local children, especially during the Christmas season when families want to be together at home.

Community clubs, groups and associations

Are you a member of a local club, group, or association looking to me a positive impact and show support for your local hospitals? No matter what community group you belong to, coming together to fundraise as a group is a great way to have fun and make new friends along the way.

Here are some ways you and your group can help:

  • Choose us as your 'Charity of the Year,' and we'll collaborate with you to promote your fundraising activities in the community through our social media, newsletters, and local press
  • Display collection boxes in your regular meeting places
  • Help raise awareness of our events and campaigns

Spreading the word about our charity is just as important as raising funds. We would welcome the opportunity to visit your group and discuss our charity and ways in which your members can contribute.

Are your fundraising juices brewing?

If you are part of a local community group or school, then we'd love to hear from you! Let's discuss your fundraising ideas and the best way to maximise your fundraising.
