We are your official charity and we are here to help you
This section of the website is aimed at BHRUT Trust staff only
Our staff play a vital role in ensuring excellent patient care. That's why we're here to support you every step of the way and help you deliver the best possible care! Our goal is to help you continue going above and beyond for your patients, allowing you to bring them comfort and provide the best possible journey during difficult times.
We support all wards and departments within King George and Queen’s Hospitals. We fund projects, big and small, that will make a real difference to you and your patients.
We know you're amazing and we know how much patients and families like thanking you with gifts. As clinical staff, you may not know what to do when a patient offers you a donation - that's where we can step in and help!
Let your patients know that their hospital has a dedicated charity. We know that patients and their loved ones are always looking for ways to say thank you – why not tell them about us and let them know how their donation can support patients and staff both now and in the future?
If you would like some leaflets and posters to have on your wards, just email bhrut.charity@nhs.net.
If you are a BHRUT staff member, you can apply for funding. We are here to support your ideas, big or small, so let's work together to fund your next project. Have an idea or not sure what you can fund? Give us a ring at ext.4225 or email bhrut.charity@nhs.net for help.
Our Workplace charity page provides information on funding, application procedures, petty cash claims, as well as links to our downloadable funding application forms .
League of Friends of King George Hospital is a voluntary organisation and registered charity which supports the work of the hospital by providing much needed extra equipment and comforts for the benefit of patients and staff through the income raised by the work of volunteers.
Our charity is here to support you and would love to grow an amazing working relationship with our staff.
If you have any questions about applying for funding or what is eligible for funding, feel free to contact us at ext. 4225 or email us at bhrut.charity@nhs.net.
